In association with Penzance Grand Prix of the Sea, The Zero Lounge and www.cornwallscoolest.com bring you the first-ever SuperStock Rocks.
Kickstarting a sizzling Cornish summer events calendar, Penzance powers into the national limelight on May 22/23 with a pulsating new motorsport and music festival.
Complimenting the main action on the water, the Penzance Grand Prix of the Sea, SuperStock Rocks will provide the a unique backdrop with the music festival marrying the best unsigned acts in the south-west with some of Britain’s biggest thrill-seeking adrenaline junkies.
Twelve bands, each bringing their own individual musical twist to the stage, will showcase their talents for two days of rock, ska, blues and acoustic. Bands start playing at 11:30AM on Saturday 22 May and finish at 6pm each day.
Album launches from top local talent such as hometown heroes, iPony, new material from Cornwall kings, San Pablo, as well as powerful anthems from Ethatone, who are all headline acts at the festival, will make it one not to be missed.
There’s something to suit everyone with the sincere sounds of Josie & The Love Cats bringing its melancholy moods to complement the eclectic beats of Gregor & the Martians and the catchy soulful rhythms of Stanley Moon.
New-wave rockets, The Bedroom Project will be making their latest appearance on Cornwall’s west coast, competing with south-west ska band, Orange Knowledge for best of the rest on Saturday’s undercard. And don’t miss progressive powerpoppers, We Fell from the Sky, metalheads, Kernuyck, future punk rockers, As We Sink and All the Bodies, completing the line-up for Sunday’s sensational finale.
Cornish based international disaster relief charity Shelterbox are the chosen charity for the event and will have a presence at the festival.
There will be a full bar operating throughout the event.

Q. How does the ticket work?
The ticket is valid for one use only and once exchanged for a wristband will not be eligible for use by anybody else - therefore no printing 2 copies for you and a mate as one of you will not get in!
Q. I still haven't received my ticket?
A. On payment a confirmation email attachment with your festival e-ticket will be sent to your inbox. This is your ticket. You need to print this off and bring it with you along with proof of I.D (Passport / Driving licence).

Q. What time does the event start?
A. The marquee opens at 10AM each day and the music is due to start at 11:30AM the bar shuts each day at 6pm and the marquee will shut by about 6.30pm.
Q. Is there parking?
A. There are public car parks available which will be sign posted
Q. Will you be selling individual day tickets?
A. Following the first wave of weekend tickets, if any remain, organisers will put individual day tickets on sale
Q. Will tickets be available on the gate?
A. Yes, but only if tickets are not sold out previously.
Q. Can we bring alcohol into the marquee?
A. No. But there will be a bar inside the tent
Q. Are children allowed?
A. children under the age of 10 are allowed for free
Q. Are tickets refundable?
